Matcha Made in Heaven: Collagen Recipe 🍵❣️

Whether you’ve never tried matcha before or are currently having your sip (I see you, I feel you!), I highly recommend giving this recipe a try. I love the earthy taste of this beautiful green drink combined with the subtle sweetness of the monk fruit and the nutty almond flavor. These ingredients are a matcha made in heaven! It won’t disappoint I promise.

Ingredients

  • Matcha Powder - Unsweetened

    • The brand I am using is Gion Tsujiri!

  • Lakanto Monkfruit Sweetener (Optional/Recommended)

    • Great alternative to sugar that won’t spike your insulin

  • Vital Protein Collagen Peptides - Unsweetened (Optional/Recommended)

    • Packed with protein and collagen

  • Almond Milk

    • Or nut milk/low fat milk of choice

  • Water

Tools

  • Bowl

  • Cup

  • Spoon

  • Sifter/Small strainer

  • Whisk

  • Microwave/Stove/Electric Kettle

RECIPE


  1. Sift your matcha and collagen into a bowl

  2. Heat some water — I prefer to do this in the microwave for 30 sec

  3. Pour hot water into the bowl with sifted matcha and collagen

  4. Whisk until the mixture is smooth with no lumps

    (the hot water should help the powder dissolve)

  5. Pour milk into a cup, followed by your matcha/collagen mixture

  6. Sweeten your drink with some monk fruit sweetener & stir with a spoon
